CareerSource Capital Region to host 2026 Summer Jobs & Internships Showcase – March 5th

Opportunity for Teens and Young Adults to Connect with Local Program Representatives and Explore Paid Work Experience Opportunities

 

Tallahassee, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region invites high school students and local youth and young adults (ages 16 – 24) who are not enrolled in school to its 2026 Summer Jobs & Internships Showcase. This is a free event for teens and young adults seeking meaningful employment and internship opportunities in the Capital Region.

The 2026 Summer Jobs & Internship Showcase will feature a wide variety of opportunities, application processes, eligibility requirements, and deadlines for each program. 
 

Featured organizations* with summer jobs and internship programs will include:

  • Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce
  • CareerSource Capital Region
  • Children’s Services Council
  • City of Tallahassee
  • Leon County Government

*Organizations are subject to change.
 

During the showcase teens and young adults will:

  • Learn about youth employment and internship programs 
  • Review eligibility requirements, timelines, and next steps 
  • Watch presentations about available opportunities
