CareerSource Capital Region Announces New Service Day in Jefferson County
Career Services Offered on Thursday Afternoons at the PK-12 SchoolMonticello, Fla. — CareerSource Capital Region is adjusting its weekly service schedule in Monticello to better serve the Jefferson County community. Beginning immediately, CareerSource staff will be available on Thursday afternoons, instead of Wednesdays, at the Jefferson County K-12 School.

CareerSource Capital Region offers career counseling, resume and job search assistance, and for eligible individuals, financial aid for training and skills development
This change is designed to better align with other community services offered at the school, allowing residents to access multiple forms of assistance in a single visit. The school, through its Community Partnership School initiative, provides free healthcare, mentoring, food pantry access, clothing closet, laundry and shower facilities, and job assistance.
"We’re happy to move our service day to Thursday to make it easier for individuals in the community to get help all on one day in one location," said Jim McShane, CEO of CareerSource Capital Region. "Our goal is to meet people where they are and make it easier to connect them with career opportunities."
