CAREERSOURCE CAPITAL REGION SEEKS LEON COUNTY BUSINESS LEADERS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
LEON COUNTY, Fla. – CareerSource Capital Region (CSCR) is seeking senior-level business leaders from Leon County to serve on its Board of Directors.
Board members provide strategic leadership and oversight of workforce development services that support local businesses, talent development, and long-term economic growth across the Capital Region, including Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon and Wakulla counties.
Qualified candidates should be senior-level decision-makers with a commitment to strengthening the workforce and regional economy. Board members are expected to contribute time and expertise to support effective governance, accountability, and strategic direction.
Here’s what you’ll do as a board member:
- Strategic Leadership: Help shape the organization’s direction by setting strategic priorities and guiding long-term workforce strategy in the Capital Region.
- Oversight: Provide oversight of financial performance and program outcomes to ensure strong governance and accountability.
- Advocacy: Represent CSCR in the community and champion its role in strengthening the workforce and local economy.
The Board of Directors plays a key role in guiding workforce strategy and ensuring accountability for publicly funded programs.
