Ready to learn new skills? Tired of being underqualified for jobs? We can help!

Through our network of approved providers, you may be eligible for financial aid to complete training in an in-demand occupation that could lead to a vocational certificate, diploma, or even an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Expenses Covered

For approved programs, we may be able to pay for training expenses such as:

  • Tuition and Fees
  • Books
  • Supplies
  • Uniforms and Shoes
  • Certifications and License Fees

Am I Eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are age 16 and older 
  • Have low household income as defined by federal guidelines  
  • Are receiving benefits through Department of Children and Families  
  • Are currently unemployed or are under-employed  
  • Do not have a high school diploma or GED 
  • Do not already possess a post-secondary degree for an in-demand occupation.  (Review the Targeted Occupations List for occupations considered to be in-demand.) 
  • Are a resident of Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson or Wakulla counties (If you live in another Florida county, please find your local team to identify your local center which offers similar assistance.) and 
  • Are authorized to work in the United States.
